A scaled-down version of the VR778, the VR615 is half the height and can record up to 48 channels. It, too, employs the Linux operating system with internal RAID disks for tens of thousands of hours of online storage. Access is available both from standard PCs using Eventide client software, and from the front panel using an intuitive color GUI with softkeys and rotary selector knob. Recommended for applications requiring up to 48 channels.

drive (SSD) in place of the standard hard disk drives. The Intel solid state drive has no moving
parts, resulting in a rugged high-reliability storage device that can withstand the bumps and
shocks of vehicular use without losing critical recording data.
The VR615 with solid state drive option is intended for use in command & communications
vehicles and trailers, such as mobile EOC, emergency response command, search & rescue
coordination, fire battalion field operations, and shipboard applications.
